The purpose of CHECC sports is to create a safe environment for our students to participate in competitive sports. It is our hope that athletes will learn to work as a team, pursue excellence within the sport, build character, make friends and have fun!

CHECC participates in the Gadsden Purchase Christian Sports League (GPCSL), which is a group of like-minded Christian schools and organizations in Southern Arizona that enjoy fellowship through sports activities. The GPCSL is a high school league that allows students ages 11 and up to participate so that small schools have enough players to field a team.

Competitions are held in the following seasons and sports:

Fall – Volleyball

Spring – Basketball & an Abbreviated Soccer Season

Spring – Annual Track and Field Event

During the 2008-2009 school year, our CHECC Warriors did quite well!  The boys volleyball team took first place and the ladies placed third at tournament in Safford.
In basketball the Ladies took third place after a very close game against Veritas, and the boys won first place after a very exciting championship game against Berean.
